About PIINS-SiteCheck
PIINS-SiteCheck is the website checker PIINS uses to review the public websites of local businesses in the United States.
What it does. It visits a homepage and up to four pages linked from it, and notes what a visitor would notice: a secure connection, a layout that works on phones, load speed, a phone number that can be tapped, a way to get in touch, the year in the footer, visible reviews and the site builder. It doesn't log in, fill out forms, or collect any information about your visitors.
How it behaves. It follows robots.txt, makes no more than one request per second to a site, and returns rarely.
