PIINS Privacy Policy

A.1 Who we are

PIINS is a brand of Dashing Media LLC, a New Mexico limited liability company, at 1209 Mountain Road PL NE STE R, Albuquerque, NM 87110 ("PIINS", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and the choices you have.

It applies to:

• piins.com;
• SiteCheck;
• our forms;
• the emails and text messages we send;
• our dealings with the businesses we serve.

Part A.9 explains how we handle information that passes through PIINS Capture on behalf of our clients.

PIINS works with businesses in the United States. This site is not directed to people outside the United States.

A.2 What we collect

What you give us. When you request a preview, book a Leak Audit, ask about a territory, run SiteCheck with your email, or write to us, we collect what you enter. That can include:

• your name, business name, email and phone number;
• your city and state, your type of business and your website;
• anything you choose to tell us.

When you buy, our payment processor collects your payment details. We never see or store your full card number.

What we collect automatically. When you visit the site, our servers log technical data: your IP address, browser type, the pages you visit and the time of your visit. We use this data for security and to keep the site working. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics also collects usage data. Our Cookie Policy explains this in detail.

What SiteCheck collects. When someone runs SiteCheck, we record the web address checked and what our checker found on the public pages of that site. SiteCheck never collects information about the visitors of the site it checks. The public website checker we operate, PIINS-SiteCheck, is described at piins.com/sitecheck.

Business information from other sources. To offer our services to businesses, we use business contact information that is publicly available or comes from business data providers:

• a business's name, website, phone number and city;
• the name, role and business email of its owner or manager;
• what our checker finds on the business's public website.

We use it only to contact businesses about our services, and we stop when asked (A.7).

A.3 How we use it

We use personal information to:

• answer your requests: prepare and send your preview, schedule and run your Leak Audit, respond to your messages;
• provide and bill the services you buy;
• send the messages described in A.4;
• keep records of consent, as the law and the phone carriers require;
• keep the site secure, prevent abuse of SiteCheck and our forms, and fix problems;
• understand which pages are useful, only if you accepted analytics cookies;
• meet legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

We do not sell personal information. We do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

A.4 The messages we send

Email.

• We reply to your requests by email.
• We may also write to a business, at its business email address, to offer our services.
• Every such email identifies us and includes our postal address. If you reply «no», or ask us to stop, we do not write again.

Text messages.

• We text you only if you checked the separate text-message box on one of our forms.
• Consent to texts is never a condition of buying anything.
• Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to stop (or tell us in any other reasonable way), or HELP for help.
• The full program terms are in our SMS Terms.

Phone calls. We do not make cold calls.

A.5 SMS data protection

• No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
• Information may be shared with subcontractors that support our services, such as customer support or message delivery.
• Text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent information will not be shared with any third parties.

A.6 Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers that help us run PIINS, and only as needed for their task. Each one handles it under its own terms:

We may also disclose information:

• when the law requires it, or to protect rights, property or safety;
• if Dashing Media LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this policy continues to apply to the information transferred. Text-message opt-in data and consent information are never part of such a transfer to a third party.

A.7 Your choices and rights

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you;
• correct it;
• delete it;
• stop contacting you.

How to ask: write to hello@piins.com from the email address in question, or tell us how to reach you. We may ask you to confirm your identity before acting. We answer within 45 days.

Stopping messages:

• Emails: reply «no» or write to us.
• Texts: reply STOP, or tell us in any other reasonable way.
• Analytics cookies: use «Cookie settings» at the bottom of any page. We honor the Global Privacy Control signal as a refusal of analytics cookies.

We will not treat you differently for exercising these rights.

A.8 How long we keep it

A.9 PIINS Capture: information we handle for our clients

When a business uses PIINS Capture, calls to that business may be answered by our system on the business's behalf. We then process the caller's information as a service provider to that business, and only to provide the service:

• the caller's name, number and address;
• what the caller needs;
• the call recording;
• the appointment.

In practice:

• That business decides how the information is used. Its own privacy policy applies to it.
• Every Capture call starts with a notice: the caller is speaking with an AI assistant, and the call is recorded.
• A caller who agrees on the call may receive one text message from that business about it, and can reply STOP.
• We never use Capture callers' information to market PIINS or anyone else, and we never sell it.

The same applies to call counting on websites we build. When a business turns it on, a tracking number on its site logs the time, length and caller ID of each call, on that business's behalf. It does not record calls.

If you called a business and want your information corrected or deleted, contact that business. You can also write to us and we will pass your request on.

PIINS Territory. No territory is operating yet. Before the first one opens, we will update this policy to explain how its calls are handled.

A.10 Security

We protect personal information with reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections, access controls and accounts protected by two-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure.

If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.

A.11 Children

Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

A.12 California residents

In the last 12 months we collected these categories of personal information:

• identifiers, such as name, email, phone number and IP address;
• commercial information, such as the services you bought;
• internet activity on our site, only with your consent for analytics;
• professional information, such as your business name and role.

We collect them from you, from your use of our site, and from public sources and business data providers, for the purposes in A.3.

We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use sensitive personal information.

You may ask to know, correct or delete your information, and you may use an authorized agent to ask for you. We will not discriminate against you for asking. Write to hello@piins.com, and we will answer within 45 days.

A.13 Changes

When we change this policy, we update the version and date at the top. If a change is significant, we will say so clearly on the site, or tell you directly if we have your contact details.
